Requirements

A copy of the Emirates ID;
a copy of the passport if the applicant is outside the country;
a final draft of the material to be printed;
and the applicant’s details.

Terms & Conditions

Provide a hard copy or an electronic copy of the work to be printed.
The customer must inform the Council of any changes to the book’s publication, including reprinting the book in a different format, changing the book title, content, or edition number.
The customer shall bear full legal responsibility for third-party rights in accordance with intellectual property laws and regulations.
Applications for printing permits are accepted from companies, individuals, or other entities.
The customer must pay the service fees within 21 working days. If payment is not made within the specified period, the application will be canceled, and the customer must submit a new application.
If the Authority requests amendments to the book copy, the customer must submit the required amendments within 21 working days. If the amendments are not submitted within the specified period, the application will be canceled, and the customer must submit a new application.
The customer must attach a copy of the cover image and the internal pages containing the book’s details when applying for the printing permit. If any of these are not attached, the application will be returned to the customer to complete the required information.
The customer undertakes that all entered data is accurate and correct, and that the attached required documents related to the service are up to date, and bears full responsibility for this.
The customer must comply with completing all requirements and take into consideration any remarks issued by the Emirates Media Council, if any. The customer must also comply with media content standards and the Publications and Publishing Law.
The customer must provide five (5) copies of the book after printing, clearly indicating the printing permit and the book’s international standard number, in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions.
