Issuance of a Magazine/Newspaper License

Media Content Services : Media Activities Licenses

License to issue (newspaper) that is issued under one name and on a regular basis (daily) continuously and sequential numbers, including electronic newspapers that are issued or broadcast by electronic means.

  • Login through the e-services system
  • Choosing the required service

  • Submit the application

Terms & Conditions
  • The application must be submitted by the person in whose name the license will be issued or by someone who legally represents him through the electronic means approved by it, in accordance with the form prepared for this purpose, along with documents and documents supporting the validity of the data contained therein.
  • The natural person must be fully competent.
  • He must be of good conduct and conduct and has not been previously convicted of a felony or a penalty restricting liberty for a misdemeanour that violates honour or honesty, unless he has been rehabilitated.
  • The legal person shall take the form of a sole proprietorship or any form of company mentioned in the Commercial Companies Law in force in the UAE.
  • Obtaining the necessary approvals from the concerned authorities.
  • Fulfilling the rules and conditions of practicing media activities and media content standards stipulated in the Decree-Law and the Executive Regulations.
  • Hold a scientific qualification from one of the recognized universities or higher institutes in the UAE.
  • Have at least one year of work experience
  • The applicant must be of good conduct and behaviour.
