Media Content Services : Authorization to Conduct Self-Monitoring of Media Content
The Self-Monitoring Program for Media Content is a program that enables entities to review and track books independently, with the aim of improving book circulation services and developing the publishing sector. The program is based on the laws and regulations issued by the National Media Authority to accelerate transaction processing, stimulate the book market, and encourage reading.

- Login through the e-services system
- Choosing the required service
- Fill in all the data and documents
- Submit the application
- Review the status of the application (approval or rejection)
- Approval and payment of fees
Terms & Conditions
- Must hold a Self-Monitoring of Media Content license from the Authority.
- Must nominate two (2) or more employees to submit requests and obtain approvals.
- Obtain the necessary approvals from relevant authorities as determined by the Authority, including licenses and requirements needed to carry out its work.
- Participate in and register for the training program under this decision, and appoint a coordinator to carry out monitoring tasks in coordination with the Authority to ensure accurate data entry for requests included in the program.
- Provide the Authority with periodic reports on monitored requests and pending requests that require a decision from the Authority.
- Comply with media content standards, age classification, and all instructions and regulations issued by the Authority to ensure smooth circulation of media content within the country in accordance with applicable laws.
- Adhere to all legislation, standards, requirements, and licensing conditions issued by the Authority; immediately notify the Authority of any content that violates media content standards; and fulfill any other obligations determined by the Authority under its issued decisions in this regard.
